September is for Bookworms!

This morning as I sipped coffee out on our balcony, a smile came to my face as I felt a new crispness in the air. Summer is winding down and my favorite season is around the corner. Fall is one season that Pueblo does exceptionally well. The weather finally starts cooling down, the leaves change color, pumpkin farms start opening up, and roasted green chiles are in the air. I cannot wait to pull down my sweaters and put away my sandals. The kids are all back in school with freshly sharpened pencils and my dahlias are exploding with color. I enjoy watching the leaves as they change from green to yellow & orange and then finally letting go.

Growing up in Oregon, autumn would always make me long for the bookstore. I'd wonder around Powell's Books as raindrops glistened on the windows. Relaxing in the cafe with a mocha and a stack of books for me to consider buying. There is something rather magical about reading in the fall. Now, I am lucky enough to have a bookstore of my own to stock with every title I've ever loved as well as books that are fresh from the publisher. There are several new titles I am longing to read this season, I hope that you will find your next favorite book at Analogue. Here are some fresh books that are on the shelves right now!
